1. Eat dark vegetables. Dark vegetables have healthy minerals such as iron and vitamins essential to a healthy diet: vitamins A, C and K.

2. Take five minutes of rest a day… Perhaps Espacio? Visualize relaxing scenes to calm your nerves and anxieties.

3. Drink tea instead of coffee or soda. Tea has more antioxidants than coffee or soda and teas such a green tea have just as much caffeine to keep you awake.

4. Disinfect your desk, phone and computer! These surfaces as ideal for pesky bacteria to grow on- so use sanitizer to wipe down your electronics and other commonly used surfaces.

5. Keep the heat in your bedroom around 68-72 degrees to make sure that you can get a good night’s sleep. Temperatures too hot can interrupt your sleep and make you even more tired.

6. Exercise! Exercise boosts your attitude and your immune system.

7. Change your toothbrush. After you get a cold or the flu change your toothbrush so that the bacteria cannot grow on your toothbrush and reinfect you.

8. Drink fluids! Many people do not feel thirsty in cold weather, but still run the risk of becoming dehydrated. Dehydration is dangerous because it makes people more prone to getting sick. The suggested amount of water to drink each day is half your weight in ounces.
